1) Please ensure ALL litter (including tea bags/cigarette butts) are removed from your swim when you leave! If you find litter in your swim when you arrive – please inform a Bailiff. It will help with monitoring.
2) A speed limit of 5 mph must be adhered to throughout the complex – Please DO NOT break this.
3) Stay in control of your rods. Common sense applies when visiting neighbouring swims.
4) Always respect other anglers, walkers, and boaters.
5) Micro barbed hooks only. No bent hooks to be used at any time.
6) A reliable lead release system must be used. All beads and tail rubbers must eject under minimal pressure.
7) Braided mainline is permitted on Spod/Marker and Pike Rods only.
8) No bait boats.
9) The use of Boats will be reviewed in the second season for Wintersett only.
10) Respect your surroundings. Your swim and surrounding woodland are not a toilet – so please do not use it as one! Anyone breaking this rule will be immediately banned. Please bag it and remove from site.
11) Retain fish for the shortest amount of time possible. Do not retain fish in or near weedbeds at night during the summer. No sacks.
12) Large well-padded Unhooking mats, Carp care kits and 42” Landing nets are compulsory.
13) The use of Particles and Nuts is permitted; however, care should be taken to ensure these are soaked and cooked properly.
14) Rods
4 rods permitted on Wintersett.
3 rods permitted on Cold Hiendley.
3 rods permitted on Botany but use common sense if busy. It is a small pond.
15) All dogs are permitted on site. They must be kept under control and cleaned up after. Please take it home.
16) Spombs must have some kind of floatation device attached.
17) No fires, BBQ’s are permitted if kept off the ground.
18) No Air rifles.
19) The use of ALL plastic baits is banned for the long-term welfare of the carp.
20) Please respect the wildlife and habitat around you.
We are working extremely hard to create a wild, unique and special place for you and your fellow syndicate members. Therefore, anyone found breaking any of the lake rules will be asked to leave.
